AusPharmList
AusPharmList is a moderated discussion group. It is moderated principally in order to exclude posts that are defamatory or libelous. Posts that have little or no relevance to pharmacy practice, are trivial, of marginal interest or are frivolous or abusive in their nature may also be excluded. Subscribers attempting to use AusPharmList to promote their own agendas or personal or commercial interests may also have their posts refused.
The views expressed in Auspharmlist.net.au posts are those of the person who composes the post. They are not the views of Mark Dunn, others who moderate AusPharmList from time to time, or AusPharmList sponsors. As a condition of having the post broadcast to AusPharmList members, the author specifically indemnifies the moderators and sponsors from any actions that might result from libelous or defamatory posts. Contributors should be particularly careful and have information checked when making specific reference to an individual or company. Previously published material reproduced on this list is done so under the 'fair dealing for the purpose of research or study' provisions of the Australian Copyright Act 1968.
To post to AusPharmList, you must be registered at auspharm.net.au. Posts must carry the name of the person posting to the list. People posting to the list are also encouraged to list their credentials, where relevant. If a post does not carry the name of the person posting, the moderator may add the name to the post.
Advertising will not be allowed except as described at the advertising information page - if it is necessary to make a judgment as to whether or not a post is 'advertising' the moderators will decide this.
Posts from pharmacists seeking employment will only be allowed according to the conditions described on the advertising information page.
Inevitably, list members will propose posts that challenge these guidelines and require adjudication from the moderator. In these situations the moderators may seek guidance from the AusPharmList editorial group but retain the right to include or exclude posts (or suggest modification to posts) at their absolute discretion.
(The AusPharmList editorial group is a group of approximately 10 pharmacists with a range of professional and life experiences. They advise on various issues relating to the list's operation including, at times, whether or not proposed posts are suitable to send to subscribers and/or post to this website.)
